I was doing okay with ARC requests this week and not loading up my Kindle too much until HarperTeen loaded a bunch of books on Edelweiss that about doubled what I had. :) Just a note that Dangerous Destiny, the prequel for A Night Sky, is still FREE. Friday Favorites: Book Covers for June and July

Friday Favorites is a weekly meme hosted here, that spotlights a favorite author, book, series, publisher, cover, blog, etc. Basically whatever bookish thing that you love, recommend, and want to tell others about. Just pick one and link up to my post each Friday to share. You can use the graphic I used above, the other one here, or your own.

I normally spotlight the book covers I love once a quarter, but I decided I may be doing it more often. Today are the covers that stood out to me that I've seen for books published in June and July. Here they are:

  

A Little Something Different: I love just how adorably cute this looks. I also like that it's not a cover that looks like any other cover I've seen. I also love the bench and tree, which seems to relate to the story.

Sisters' Fate: I have liked all of the covers in this series. I love this one for the colors in the background, but mostly for the three sisters and how only the one is turned.

Fiendish: This cover is just amazingly creepy! I love how it looks and portrays the story. It's not one I'll be reading, but still it's a great cover.

I read Sunkissed back in July. I needed to sit on it for a while before I felt I could write a good review. I was expecting a cleaner read and there were some scenes that kind of seared my brain. They weren't long enough to really be able to see them coming and then skim. They were just there. For those that enjoy adult paranormal romance on a regular basis I would say that this was all really well done. For me, it was just too much. Thus, the waiting until I could think and let things settle. Here's my review...
